Successful repair of torn rotator cuff.

After consultation with Dr. Muh, I elected to have rotator cuff surgery. Everything went as planned and how the doctor and PA said it would. Surgery was successful and as directed, I had to put the work in for rehab and physical therapy. Recovery was lengthy but after 6 months, I have my life back again. I can sleep without pain, lift up my granddaughters, play golf, etc. Aug 08, 2025

Dr Muh and Reverse shoulder surgery

Dr Muh performed a reverse total shoulder replacement on my right shoulder in May 2024. She was very thorough in her explanations and follow up, and answered any questions that I had. She scheduled regular follow up appointments and encouraged me to keep up the PT. I am happy to say that one year later, I feel great and have almost total use of my shoulder and arm. Had numerous shoulder dislocations and Dr. Muh performed surgery after thoroughly reviewing my prognosis and options. She noted all challenges and set realistic expectations. Reverse Shoulder Replacement (Left Shoulder)

I visited Dr Muh on Tuesday, February 18, 2025, in her office, for a One-Year Follow-up, Dr Muh ordered X-Rays to determine if anything had changed since my surgery in February 2024. The X-rays showed no change. Everything was in place with no issues. Dr Muh had me position my arm in several positions to verify my motion. Positions were done without issue. Dr Muh was satisfied with my ability to move my Arm-Shoulder without pain. I was told that Dr Muh would like to see me in one year, in 2026. Two Years after surgery. J B – Feb 19, 2025

Honest with me from the start.

I came in initially with a tricompartmental fracture of my humerus bone. The rotary cuff was effected and pretty much my whole body was, too. Dr. Muh was honest with me in what I would be able to do, and what to expect. All the staff was very nice and thorough, associate doctors were very thorough and answered all questions. I was so happy with Dr Muh! I ended up healing better than expected, and she was so proud and happy for me. I really liked her for her plain honesty and how she showed the pre-physical therapy exercises to me. I am so glad I listened to her when she told me what not to do. Dr Muh is a highly skilled Orthopedic Surgeon with multiple Specialties. Her concern for the patient is outstanding. Example: I entered the hospital on Thursday; she made every effort to perform surgery on Friday but was unable to get on the schedule. She performed surgery on Saturday in order to get the repair made promptly rather than delaying. I had little to no pain and the surgery was very successful. Previously Dr Muh repaired a shoulder injury. I hope there won' t be a need for her services again; but if I do she will always be my first choice. Apr 26, 2023

My experience with Dr. Muh and my total shoulder replacement was beyond my best expectations. Having two knee arthroplasty's and a total ankle previous, I approached this with the belief that I would have weeks of pain and discomfort. My experience was of some discomfort but less than I had prior to surgery. Dr. Muh's treatment modalities for pain were far different and it is my belief that this resulted in less pain and more mobility. I am three months post operative and have mobility in the shoulder that I haven't had in years. I have recommended her as a surgeon to a number of friends and appreciate all of her expertise. Dr. Muh was very helpful in letting me know what options were available to me for treating my shoulder for a rotator cuff tear. I opted to have the surgery, and was able to have the procedure done within just a few days. Five years before my shoulder replacement I had rotor cuff surgery and was told by him it was ripped so badly it was a one time fix. It did work for about 5 years then it ripped and my last surgeon said he couldn't fix it but recommended Dr. Muh and said she was excellent. I had my right shoulder repaired on May 01-2017 by Dr. Muh and her team. My shoulder was quite a mess with full tears of both the supra/infraspinatus tendons. I also had torn my bicep tendon. I only saw Dr. Muh in clinic for a cortisone shot to help with my tennis elbow. She is easy to talk to. Explained in detail what she was doing, while she was doing it. Dr. Muh is a very professional doctor. Dr. Muh was very empathic and showed a genuine concern for my health. I liked how Dr. Muh made decisions about my broken shoulder without jumping the gun and doing surgery without making sure I was totally healthy to have the shoulder replacement. She ordered a EMG in which the test revealed I had nerve damage and referred me to a neurosurgeon in hopes the neurosurgeon can repair the nerve then she would proceed with the shoulder replacement.
